DECADE of The Teens on Stardoll - The Story
Hello wonderful dollies and welcome to another history lesson. This time we will talk about "Decade of The Teens" store. Although the story seems pretty simple it has lots of controversy behind it. I'm sure many of the old members remember it but for all the new members here it is how the story goes:
On December 2 of 2009 and ad appeared on frontpage (today's "Spotlight") showing us that a Design Contest is coming to stardoll!!
The Design contest was for Superstars!!
Later that day the contest Started
Now Let me tell you that it was not a "Stardesign" Contest but an actual design contest
You had to upload your Real Life Sketches and if you won your clothes would be in a new Store.
The Design Contest Started and the top Design when the competition started was this one:
A beautiful design that was proved to be stolen. Before the competition ended USD and the rest
of the blogging world new what was going on with the design..Look here:
The site that was warned from stardoll users that the design was stolen started taking some action by informing stardoll.

The Design contest went onward and their were more copied designs that stardoll started to remove

After lot of controversy the Store finally arrived on December 28 of 2009
The store Looked like this:
And when we thought all thsi was over after the release another design issue came.
The Right Dress on the Last picture proved to come from a stolen Design as well.

However the stolen design dress was never removed from Starplaza...and the store stayed as it was.
And that was the story of "Decade of the teens"...
